The brief

One system that did everything, simple enough for children and guests to use. Not a different app or button for every job, lighting that doesn't get left on, and heating and air conditioning that don't fight each other.

What we did

  • Loxone BMS cabinet and network rack controlling the whole home, programmed around the family.
  • One app for access control, lighting, heating, shading, air conditioning and audio.
  • Presence sensors in every room, so no lights stay on for long in an empty room.
  • Heating and cooling driven by room temperatures and schedules, with a simple override.
  • HDMI distribution across the TVs in the house.

The outcome

Three curated lighting moods per room instead of constant fiddling with dimmers. Shading follows the sun angle, so no glare. Sleep mode closes the shutters and turns off the lights in one tap from the touchpad by the bed. Everything reachable remotely, and the temperature comfortable whether it's sunny or snowing outside.
